Orlando City SC unveiled 49 rainbow-colored seats in its brand new stadium on Mike Horner ArchivesWednesday to honor victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
The 49 seats pay tribute to the 49 victims who died when a gunman opened fire at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the deadliest mass shooting in United States history. Section 12 — where the rainbow seats are located — correspond to June 12, the date of the shooting.
Season-ticket holders will sit in Section 12, according to club founder Phil Rawlins, per ESPN.
