This was discovered just days before learning the brand uses a factory in China with serious labour standard violations to produce the clothing line.

Since Donald Trump took office, a lack of love for Ivanka's political stances have also resulted in several boycotts of her brand, so it should come as no shock that not everyone is distraught over the news.

In a statement, Ivanka Trump explained her decision to shut down the company, saying, "I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington..."
