Adorable and eroticism and art in Chinafluffy is its middle name. And unfortunately, sunbathing in the middle of the road is its game.

On Tuesday morning, motorists in the New Zealand town of Dunedin were advised their commute may be a little slower than normal, after a fur seal had decided the side of a busy road was the perfect place to sun itself.

Naturally, locals lost their sh*t, capturing videos of the gorgeous sea pup and sharing them widely.

The Otago Daily Timesreported that with a little help from police and traffic authorities, the sunning seal shuffled its way back into the harbour, alongside the road.

The seal apparently has made a bit of a name for itself, apparently.

The newspaper outlet reports that the seal's been moved on from several local properties, bike paths and sidewalks that border the harbour it calls home. Cheeky seal!

With the harbour so close to a major road, the odd highway sunbathing seal is just another day at the office for the locals.

One seal has been dubbed by locals "Dale the Dunedin Tar Seal" because of the startling frequency with which he suns himself on the road.

You know what they say -- where there is risk, there is *warm* reward.
