Airbnb has activated its disaster response page following the record-breaking flooding in Louisiana.

With at least seven people dead and Watch The End of the Fucking Worldsome 20,000 evacuated as a result of the flood, the accommodation site has set live the tool that allows hosts to offer their homes free of charge.

Anyone with a property listed in the affected area has been emailed by the site with a request for help. Existing hosts and local residents with extra space can host those in need for free, and all Airbnb bookings in the affected area are fee-free from Aug 14 to Sept 4.
