Per SmokeyMountains.com, this year's map features projections gleaned from an algorithm that takes into account millions of data points from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and from historical foliage trends.
Broken down by county, the map offers predictions for the 11-week period between August 26 and November 11, detailing where and when foliage will peak in your area.
