【This Isn't The Twilight Saga: New Moon: The XXX Parody】
Welcome to the second day of the terrifying Trump letter saga.
For those who have This Isn't The Twilight Saga: New Moon: The XXX Parodybeen shielding their eyes from the news, on Wednesday the public learned that Trump sent a deeply concerning letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to address the dangerous situation in Syria.
In the letter, Trump used a slew of unhinged and un-presidential language, threatening to destroy Turkey's economy if Erdogan didn't act in a "humane way." The letter was so ridiculous that Turkish presidential sources told BBC that Erdogan threw it in the trash.

"President Erdogan received the letter, thoroughly rejected it and put it in the bin," sources told the BBC.
The letter is dated Oct. 9, 2019, which indicates that it was sent a little more than a week ago. Though Trump strongly urged Erdogan to "work out a great deal" with him and not be "a tough guy" or "a fool," the letter doesn't appear to have persuaded the Turkish president to act in Trump's favor.
Per the BBC, Erdogan's staff said that Trump's letter "infuriated" him so much that he threw it out and proceeded to launch the Syrian operation later in the day.
Trump's recent decision to withdrawal U.S. troops, which gave Turkey the ability to attack the Kurds in Syria, has caused extreme controversy over the past week. Shortly before the letter was released to the public Trump canceled a scheduled "all-Member classified briefing," and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said he "had a meltdown" earlier in the day.

Trump later tried to start a Twitter war with Pelosi. He tweeted a striking photograph of her standing up to him in their meeting and claimed that she was the one who had a "meltdown."
As Trump continues to receive criticism for his decision to pull out troops, Vice President Mike Pence is currently in Ankara, Turkey, pushing for a ceasefire.

Judging from the unenthused looks in this photo today mightnot go as planned for Trump and Pence.
