According to earlier reports, the government organization could benefit by about Rs 1,200 million ($18 million) to Rs 1,500 million (22.5 million) in annual revenue through this project.
Over the past year, Uber and Ola have also been working with airport authorities to get parking space outside some of the busiest airports in the country. Commuters landing at airports in Bangalore, and Mumbai for instance can avail either of the ride-hailing services, for instance.
