【Secret Confessions: Wifey’s BFF Episode 48】
Sean Blocksidge got a little more bang for his buck when late-night bush bashing on Secret Confessions: Wifey’s BFF Episode 48Wednesday evening in Western Australia. Out scouting new trails for his company of bushwalking tours, he stumbled upon two kangaroos, backlit by a rising full moon and in a loving embrace.
That's how it started anyway. But as the intrepid photographer bore witness to, it ended with the probable conception of a little baby joey.
The once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity almost didn't happen, however.

Speaking with Mashable Australia,Blocksidge said that it wasn't uncommon to see a couple of kangaroos getting a bit frisky out in nature, but as the female came a little closer he noticed a sliver of light rising over the cliff and he realised what was about to happen. "At that point I was like 'oh my goodness I don't have my camera' and made a mad dash back to my car to get it and back into position," Blocksidge reported.
To add insult to injury, his camera decided to call it quits while the perfect photo opportunity was playing out in front of him. "I didn't have a tripod of anything so I set up the shot and the camera just suddenly died on me. It wouldn't focus, the motor was whirring and I had to turn it on and off five times. By this point the moon was up and the kangaroos were even closer!"
After a few moments of pure panic, the camera kicked into gear and Blocksidge managed to snag a handful of shots that could be classed as "adult kangaroo content" or just "nature doing it's thing by the light of the silvery moon."
