Adele fans love Adele the way she loves Beyoncé or Saigon Sunsetraps Nicki Minaj's verse in "Monster": fiercely and loudly. And what better way to show it than via some gender performativity?

One die-hard Adele fan, drag performer DJ Feminem was able to show off her devotion for the Grammy-winning singer IRL, when she was pulled up on stage during her first ever show in Australia.

There was singing, there was selfies. It was awesome.

Feminem was among the 65,000 people packed into Domain Stadium in Perth on Tuesday night, when "Some guy from the crew grabbed my hand and lead me onto the stage," as she put it according to WA Today.

"Why didn't you tell me I had such a sweaty face?! You look better than I do... we can't have that!" Adele joked when the pair turned a camera phone on themselves for a selfie.

Feminem also took the opportunity to belt out some lines from "Rumour Has It," solidifying a position as Western Australia's preeminent Adele impersonator (if she wasn't already.)

In a chat with local Radio 6PRon Wednesday, the drag artist said the whole experience "was crazy."

"I kind of caught her eye in the first 15 minutes of the show and she gave me a bit of a wink and a wave and I was just having fun," she said. "And then when she came further and was walking down the catwalk, she circled the stage she stopped and she said 'I want to meet you.' And security did the rest.

The hugs were plentiful.
