【Big Thing Chief: The Stolen Wife】
This year,Big Thing Chief: The Stolen Wife Inauguration Day promises to be unlike any other. Not only are we swearing in President-elect Joe Biden as the nation’s 46th president only 14 days after an attempted coup, we are also swearing in Kamala Harris as the very first woman, Black person, and South Asian person as vice president. Huzzah!
The event is expected to begin around 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 20, and will feature performances from Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez. In the evening, a primetime special entitled Celebrating Americawill air for 90 minutes from 8.30 p.m. ET. It'll be hosted by Tom Hanks and will feature Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, and Foo Fighters among others.
There will be several ways to watch the historic event. Network television will, of course, be airing it, including NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, MSNBC and PBS. Each network will have separate coverage schedules starting as early as 9 a.m. ET on Jan. 20.
