Yeezy Season 4 finally arrived in a flurry of spandex neutrals,Le bijou d’amour Snapchats and misery.

Kanye West's latest fashion show, according to tradition, was a spectacle -- perhaps not the right kind this time around, as onlookers noted the models' palpable suffering.

The rapper, designer and thought leader hosted dozens of models at his bi-annual fashion show with Adidas -- now, apparently, thigh-high clear stiletto boots are officially athleisure. Hydration is apparently not a good gym look, though.

West kindly offered a school bus to chauffeur elite members of the fashion press to the show on Roosevelt Island in New York City.

The livestream was supposed to start at 3 p.m. ET but got pushed back until 4:41 due to some totally unforeseen circumstances -- traffic in Manhattan. The delay sparked frustration from fans and concern for the parched models waiting in 80-something-degree weather for a couple hours.

When fashion industry professionals, who are no stranger to discomfort, are particularly alarmed, there's a problem. But hey, at least there wasn't a literal plague!

Finally, the show officially began and models handed out water bottles to other models and then they all had to be responsible for those water bottles.

Model Amina Blue was having trouble with the shoes and just decided to do without them. Be the change you wish to see in Yeezy Season.

Justin Bieber's girl of the moment, Sofia Richie, walked at the show. Hopefully she got plenty of cold, cold water.

Richie , who modeled a coat, later gave a report from the scene on Instagram, "The heat today in NY was not chill. At all."

Helicopters captured an overhead look at the event. From this view, no one seems to be having a bad time, so that's a positive.

Like in previous Yeezy x Addidas shows, the looks were primarily monochromatic. The whole thing had the vibe of a glamorous end-of-the-world ceremony in the desert where half the people started stripping off layers in what we must assume was a survival strategy.

According to Yeezy Season tradition, the models who just had to stand there motionless for a couple hours got a little bored.

Eventually, Kanye showed up to observe his creation.

The good news is that, despite initial concerns over the "multiracial" casting call, which people feared was coded language meant to exclude black women with darker skin, the show was exceptionally diverse.

Plus, we got to see Teyana Taylor and Chanel Iman kill it before, hopefully, drinking several of the 11 glasses of water recommended per day.
