Imagine realizing that your 13-year-old kid just sent out a bunch of nonsensical tweets from your boss's Twitter account. And your boss just so happens to be Bengali Archivesthe culture minister of France.

Merde.

This was reality for one community manager, whose son got a hold of the official account for Françoise Nyssen, the French Culture Minister. The results? Wildly inappropriate would be an understatement.

Tweets include, "Your mother is a fat whore," and "feminists = whores"

"Why is there important youtuber in my mentions ? i know you are unemployed but go to sleep," another tweet said.

One said, "There is nothing, sometime there is Poliwag but nothing more," which is in reference to Pokemon.

Overall, the tweets were full of obscenities and inappropriate references, and were eventually taken down. The (legitimate) Twitter account holder followed up with an apology, and said they were looking into the situation.

When translated, the message reads: "The account @MinistereCC has been usurped between 1:00 and 5:00. Our apologies for these unwanted tweets. We try to solve the problem."

Mashable Francereported that Twitter user @ViViTiX_CR took credit for the mishap, though it hasn't been confirmed they were the culprit. That account has since been deleted, but can be found through cache.

On Twitter, some people were amused, while others voiced concern over the security of the Twitter account.

One user wrote, "@MinistereCC Two-factor authentication isn't too hard?"
