Evans' photo opp appearance comes ahead of Lightyear, the latest spinoff in the Toy Storyfranchise, starring Evans as the titular character. The film traces Buzz Lightyear's origin story, honing in on the fictional life of Buzz the astronaut, before he became the beloved children's toy voiced by Tim Allen, and known for chiming "to infinity and beyond".

Evan's version of Buzz is a little more serious than the Toy Storypinnacle we're used to, with the film belonging to an action-adventure genre, featuring "ruthless robots", a mystery, and the daunting task of moving through space and time.
