Slack just got a little more fun thanks to a new channel that'll give you $1,Ashley Lopez Archives000 ifyou can guess the word of the day.

It's that easy. Just type a word into the Slack channel and if it's the right one ... free money

The Slack channel, appropriately called "The Word Of The Day Is," is free for anyone with a Slack account to join and the rules are pretty simple:

1 - You can only enter one word at a time (sentences or paragraphs will be disqualified).

2 - The first person to guess the correct word wins and the contest ends for the day.

3 - If no one guesses correctly, the word will be revealed at 11:59PM EST before resetting for the next day.

4 - We reserve the right to disqualify and ban anyone suspected of foul play (bots, etc.).

5 - Usernames or messages may not be vulgar, contain any racist words, etc., or they will be disqualified and banned.

Winners will receive a DM on Slack and sent $1,000 via Venmo according to the MSCHF Internet Studios' FAQ.

"The Word Of The Day Is" channel is one of the most clever uses of Slack we've seen, turning what's essentially a work tool into a game.

Of course, winning isn't as easy as it sounds. Just stop and think about how many words exist in the English language. Still, the room is absolutely packed with people trying to guess the secret word.

And if the name MSCHF Internet Studios sounds familiar, you've probably seen some of their other weird projects, like "Late Night Snap Hacks," a site that lets users fake a social life on Snapchat, or the "Away Mode" Alexa skill that plays awkward music to scare people away from your home, or "Times Newer Roman," a version of the font that's 5-10% wider.

If you're feeling lucky, go right ahead and try it. But we're warning you: the chances of winning are very slim.
