Ride-hailing app Uber launched a new feature on Dear Utol (2025): WEEK 5 HIGHLIGHTS Episode 29Wednesday in an effort to make renting a car less painful.

While you’ve been able to rent a car through Uber for a while, the company announced on Wednesday that you can now book a rental car from Avis, Budget, Hertz and dozens of other companies directly from your app — and have the vehicle delivered to your home and picked up when you’re done through the new Valet feature.

"No rental car counters, no lines, no schlepping," the company said on Wednesday, adding that it's "bringing the magic of Uber to the rental car experience."
