Now, instead, Griffin finds himself grappling with the loss of his first love and the grief that comes when someone dies far too young.

To make matters more complicated, Griffin feels that the only person who understands his pain is Jackson, Theo's boyfriend at the time of his death. When Jackson comes to town for Theo's funeral, Jackson and Griffin strike up an unlikely friendship that may be just as destructive as it is therapeutic.
