Popular Wordle clone Quordle is now a part of Merriam Webster.
The game has been one of the more popular Wordle-like games out there, probably because it offers a slightly tougher challenge than the original (in Quordle you simultaneously juggle four word puzzles instead of just the one).

"I’m delighted to announce that Quordle was acquired by Merriam-Webster! I can’t think of a better home for this game. Lots of new features and fun to come, so stay tuned," the statement says.
The game is now hosted on Merriam-Webster's site instead of its own, and the new site sports a tiny Merriam-Webster logo on top. Quordle is also prominently featured on Merriam-Webster's homepage.
Merriam-Webster is a U.S. publishing company that focuses on reference books and dictionaries. It is itself owned by Encyclopaedia Britannica, which acquired it in 1964.
