"I am sorry you are hurt, it could happen to anyone, and I do not wish you ill. You should realise however that you project the image of a very immature man. You won't be 'given' 250K: it's [sic] seems self-delusional, greedy and grasping," reads one anonymous donor, who pledged five dollars.
"Fund your own recovery. You're a disgrace," reads another comment. "How come you can fund partying, drinking and overseas trips but not your own recovery?" asks another.
"I'll give you $5 with the sole intent of telling you what an idiot everyone thinks you are," wrote an anonymous commenter. Ouch.

On their website they've spruiked their love for "exploring the globe, one island and one runway at a time," which they've covered on their Instagram accounts.
The GoFundMe campaign raised A$405 (US$306) in a day, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
But not long after the less-than-nice wave of comments started rolling in, the page was taken down.
