The chain's pricing organic turkey at $3.49 per pound for all shoppers, while Prime members will pay just $2.99.
Brand-name bestsellers like Chobani yogurt, Tom's of Maine toothpaste, and Applegate hot dogs are also slated for a price cut across the board.
Amazon previously lowered price tags on popular basic commodities (like bananas, eggs, fish, kale, and avocados) upon officially closing its $13.7 billion acquisition of the chain in August.
Those price cuts have already been shown to have boosted store traffic considerably, even if the chain might not be making as much profit as it was last year.
Amazon benefits from influxes in shoppers in ways beyond simple grocery sales too. The company announced last week that it's bringing its full line of electronics to 100 Whole Foods stores this holiday season, and it's already started facilitating returns and pickups at the stores.
Whole Foods CEO John Mackey hinted in a statement on Wednesday that there could be even more price cuts to come.
"We're just getting started," Mackey said. "In the few months we’ve been working together, our partnership has proven to be a great fit."
In the meantime, Whole Foods' rivals (Kroger, Target, Costco, and Walmart) all saw their share prices dip after Wednesday morning's announcement. Eat up.
